Seeking supply chain excellence

What do the UK Government, the NHS, Microsoft and Noatum Logistics have in common? Answer; they have all been shortlisted for a Supply Chain Excellence Award. With Noatum shortlisted twice, alongside customers GANT and Tom Dixon.

Publisher and events organiser, Akabo Media, is one of the most influential voices in supply chain, freight and logistics. Its annual Supply Chain Excellence awards are in their 24th year and as hotly contested as ever, with over 100 of the biggest names in the public and private sector competing for the coveted awards.

Noatum Logistics has been shortlisted in the Retail Supply Chain Excellence and Supply Chain Operations categories, alongside customers GANT and Tom Dixon.

The GANT submission outlines Noatum’s work with the Swedish American fashion Brand to integrate their supply chain from origin, to destination market logistics, including eCommerce fulfilment, returns management, customer service and the development of a new toolkit to measure and offset CO2 emissions.

Contemporary lighting and furniture designer Tom Dixon’s eponymous company has grown massively since its launch in 2002. Noatum has worked with the innovative brand since 2016 and have been shortlisted in the Supply Chain Operations category, for their success in creating a global logistics environment, which can be managed precisely and dynamically. That has been particularly critical in managing supply chain operations during post-COVID global disruption.

The joint submission with Tom Dixon also highlighted a further nine supply chain operations initiatives, including bespoke contract logistics, simplified EU distribution, eCommerce and returns management.

Despite the strength of Noatum’s entries with GANT and Tom Dixon, competition will be fierce. With the likes of the Department of Health, Heineken, Heinz and Nestlé all vying for their place in the supply chain limelight.

The Supply Chain Excellence Awards will be presented during a ceremony at London’s Park Lane Hilton on the 8th November 2021.
